Accommodation

“The Bails” was one of the original dairy farmhouses in Maleny built around 1900. The house retains its original farmhouse charm with polished timber floors and VJ walls but has a modern kitchen and bathroom.

The three bedroom farmhouse sleeps comfortably up to 4 adults (2 couples) and 3 children.
Located on an elevated knoll, the extensive grounds (2.5 acres) have plenty of room for children to play and the wrap around verandahs provide an ideal location for a glass of wine or morning coffee while enjoying the spectacular views and rural serenity.
The native trees and rainforest fringing the grounds are home to an abundance of birdlife and you can listen to the whip birds, count the kookaburras or spy the rosellas in their nesting box in the jacaranda tree.
The quaint farmhouse and milking bails, spectacular blooms of the jacaranda tree and elevated views from the property provide a multitude of fabulous backdrops for wedding photographs.

After travelling up the range from Landsborough on the Maleny-Landsborough Road, Mountain View Road is the first turn on the left. The turnoff is well before you get to the Maleny town centre and before the turnoff to Montville. The Mountain View Road turnoff is a major T-intersection that has shops and restaurants on the left hand side.

The property is 4.3 km along Mountain View Road on the left hand side, 230 m past the turnoff to McCarthy Road (which is on the right). The driveway has a green letter box with the number 447 and a black and white sign out the front. The driveway can be hard to see as the property has a dense tree screen at the front and the house is set back from the road.
